What is aesPlla® and how does it work?
aesPlla® contains poly-L-lactic acid, a biodegradable substance that stimulates the body's natural collagen production.
This cutting-edge injectable treatment is designed to rejuvenate the skin by harnessing collagen production, providing natural-looking volume, firmness and smoothness with long-lasting results.
Unlike fillers that provide instant volume, aesPlla® works gradually, with results beginning to appear around 4 weeks after treatment as the poly-L-lactic acid is absorbed. It stimulates mild inflammation, encourages fibroblast growth, and triggers the production of new collagen, leading to subtle, natural-looking improvements over time.
Around 4 weeks post-treatment, as collagen production starts, you'll first notice a revitalised glow, followed by a gradual restoration of facial volume. aesPlla® offers significantly longer-lasting results compared to fillers, with effects that can last up to 3 years. Depending on the desired volume, 1-3 treatment sessions may be required, spaced four weeks apart.

What to expect
The treatment is minimally invasive, and the level of discomfort experienced can vary from person to person. To minimise discomfort lidocaine is injection into the insertion site.
